The Location

Located in the Copperfield neighborhood in Houston off HWY 6 North and Spencer Road. Be sure to check out the hand painted booth murals done by our own Sierra Schriefer. Take a seat outside and get familiar with our squirrel mascot, Willie! He loves fries and people, in that order. Opened July 1997

Willie's has been here since I was a kid, and I always associated it with good times. I haven't been in forever since I'm usually not in the area, but I've been making sure to be with family with the crazy corona stuff going on, which has led me here. I came because my fam got coupons in the mail, so I figured why not take advantage. We all got different kinds of burgers, with mine being the bacon Willie. A classic bacon cheeseburger with everything on it, lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard and ketchup, with fries. For barely being over $10, it was good AF! Solid size, great flavor, 0 complaints. The price doesn't include a drink but that doesn't bother me because I typically get water or beer anyway. I can only speak on burgers, queso, and fried pickles from my most recent / past memorable experiences, but for a solid burger and bar apps that won't break that bank, I'm always down for Willie's.

We have been going to Willie's for years and have always had a good meal. Many items to choose from besides just burgers (good by the way) like grilled fish and brisket tacos served with street corn - all are really tasty. Morgan H. is a great server and always takes care of us with a smile. We always want to sit in her section. You can always order online and pick up which is great during the pandemic. Order has always been correct.

Hubby & I have enjoyed going to Willie's Copperfield for many years because we've always had really good food, big portions, good service at reasonable prices. Tuesday evening, July 14th, our server, Frankie raised the bar by giving us some of the best service we've ever had in our 13 years of wedded bliss. We ordered fried mushrooms, small grilled chicken salad, large blackened chicken salad, bread pudding & 2 iced teas. Frankie timed our meal perfectly and always made sure we didn't have empty tea glasses and asked every time if we needed more Splenda (a first for us). Frankie was so nice, has a great personality and gave us 1 of the best dining experiences we've ever had not only at Willie's but also any restaurant we've ever been to. Last night, we did curb side for the 1st time because we were a little concerned about 1 of our doggies. A few things were missing so won't be doing curb side again. Frankie brought our food out to hubby's car when hubby picked up our order. P.S Doggy is fine. Sometimes we can be overprotective pet parents

This place remained consistently good. There is a wide variety of food to choose from & everything is very good. The Take Out/Delivery orders are always correct & well packaged. Highly recommend: fried mushrooms & pickles, cheese steak, fried fish & shrimp, Salads w/ ranch, ribs, & grilled fish tacos.
